TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR QUEENSLAND FURNITURE

By using and purchasing from this website or in store you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.


Your status.

To be eligible to purchase Products on this website you must:


(a)   Be capable of entering into binding contracts; and


(b)   Be at least 18 years old.


(c)   Provide your real name and contact details (including e-mail); and


(d)   a valid delivery address in the United Kingdom (mainland only)


Payment.

The price of the Products will be the amount set out in the Order. Prices are liable to change at any time, but subsequent price changes will not affect the price for the Products stated in your Order at the time of placing your Order.


Payment can be made by credit or debit card, Cash (in store), bank transfer (details available upon request) or PayPal..


Our site contains a large number of Products and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the Products listed on our site may be incorrectly priced. We are under no obligation to provide the Product to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you a Dispatch Confirmation, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as a miss-pricing.

Coupons and Promotions.

All coupon codes, Promotions are subject to Product Availability. Offers Promotions or coupons can be withdrawn without Prior Notice. In Case the coupon codes being misused or exploited, management reserves right not to honour them and cancel the Sale or deal as needed.


Availability.

All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the item(s) you have ordered are not available and we will advise you if their may be a delay.


Warranties.

Our products are manufactured to the highest quality, the vast majority in the United Kingdom. We give you a 1 year genuine manufacturers warranty on all our furniture, except ex display items and items sold as new ex display which come with a 14 day guarantee only and are not covered with the full guarantee.  Products are warranted against manufacturing defects only, Queensland Furniture reserves the right not to apply the warranty in cases of inappropriate use or when the product has been tampered with by a third party or interventions by non-authorised personnel, the use of 'raisers' is not recommended and will void the manufactures warranty.


Deliveries.

Delivery is to mainland England only (We do NOT deliver to Scotland, Wales, Ireland or any Channel Islands.)


5* delivery includes taking items into your home and setting them up(if assembly is purchased), when we deliver your new item and all staff have to carry out a risk assessment prior to entering your home, so clear any hallways and obstructions.


We are not liable for damage to your home, carpets, walls or doors or any breakages, if your new item does not fit up stairs or through doors then we can refund you but you it will be minus the delivery charge and  a re stocking fee, which will be deducted from your refund and you will be refunded within 14 days.


On the rare occasion due to unforeseen circumstances we are unable to deliver on the day given, you will be contacted and given a different delivery day. This is rare but can be due to mechanical problems or traffic due to accidents, any alternative delivery days will be within 10 days of the 1st delivery day.


If you are not in on the day you have arranged delivery, so we are unable to deliver,  then we can re deliver on a different day but there will be a further delivery charge and an admin fee of £30, the re delivery may be delayed by up to 14 days.


Please be aware we take credit card fraud very seriously, so when we deliver or when you collect you will need the credit or debit card you used to pay and photo’s identification, if this is a problem ie someone else is buying it for you please contact us prior to ordering and we can advise the delivery drivers ie if mums buying it for you :)


Cancelling your Order.

You can cancel your order at any time up to 24 hours before delivery for a refund but their will be a admin fee if ordered in store or if your order is showing as 'pending' on the web site. If you ordered a fabric/leather sofa from our ‘custom built designs’ you can be refunded but a fee will be deducted from your refund, as we may not be able to re sell the colours you chose to have your new sofa made in. Refunds will be made within 14 days.   

Please e- mail themanager@queenslandfurniture.co.uk stating you wish to cancel you order with your order number, name address and contact number.


Returning Goods.

All refunds will be paid back using the method you used to pay within 14 days.

We are unable to accept returns after they are delivered. We do our best to make sure the measurements are perfect but they can vary by up to 2-10cm, we cannot accept returns if damaged by the delivery drivers unless they are noticed on the day of delivery.
